മേർസിയമ്മ തിടനാട് നടുവക്കാട്ട് വൈദ്യകലാനിധി വർക്കിയുടെ മകളാണ്. ഞായർകുളത്ത് ഡോ.എൻ.ജെ. വർക്കി(വക്കച്ചൻ) ഭർത്താവ് രോഗാവസ്ഥയിൽ ഏറെകാലം കിടപ്പിലായിരുന്നു. എങ്കിലും സദാ സമയം പ്രസന്നവദയായിരുന്നു. പ്രാർത്ഥനയിലും ഒപ്പം കിടന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ള വീട്ടുജോലികളിലും ഭർത്താവിന് വേണ്ടി ഹോമിയോ മരുന്നുകൾ പൊതിഞ്ഞു തയാറാക്കുന്നതിലും യാവൃതയായിരുന്നു. 2021 ജനുവരി 21 ന് അന്നമ്മ മരിച്ചു. സവസമസ്കാരം തിടനാട് സെൻറ് ജോസഫ് പള്ളി സെമിത്തേരിയിൽ നടത്തി .
