വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയായിരിക്കെ തന്നെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ത്തിലും പൊതുക്കാര്യങ്ങ ളിലും തല്പരനായിരുന്നു. സർ.സി.പി.രാമസ്വാമി അയ്യർ തിരുവിതാംകൂർ ദിവാനായിരുന്ന കാലത്ത് കൊ.വ.1114-ൽ മാസങ്ങൾ നീണ്ടുനിന്ന സംസ്ഥാന വ്യാപകമായ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി സമരകാലത്ത് ഭരണ ങ്ങാനം ഹൈസ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയായിരുന്ന പി.സി. കുഞ്ഞു വർക്കി (വർക്കിച്ചൻ) ആ സമര ത്തിനു നേതൃത്വം നൽകി സ്കൂളിൽനിന്നു നിഷ്കാ സിതനായി.അവിവാഹിതനായിരുന്നു. സഹോദരങ്ങളോരോരുത്തരുടെയും സുസ്ഥിരതയ്ക്കും അഭിവൃദ്ധിക്കുംവേണ്ടി ത്യാഗപൂർവം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. 1961 മുതൽ താമസം ഗോവയിലായിരുന്നു. അവിടെവച്ച് 31-10-1974.ൽ നിര്യാതനായി.
