മുട്ടം ശങ്കരപ്പള്ളി ഇടവക പാമ്പാറയിൽ ഫിലിപ്പോസിന്റെ പുത്രി അന്നമ്മയാണ് ഭാര്യ. വിവാഹം 1945 ജനുവരിയിൽ. 1957 മലബാറിൽ ചന്ദനനക്കാംപാറ അടുത്ത് മാവുംതോട്ടിൽ കുടിയേറി താമസമാക്കി.മുട്ടത്തെ കുടുംബസ്വത്തു വള്ളോംപുരയിടത്തിൽ ആൻഡ്രൂസിന് വിറ്റ് മാവുംതോട് ടൗണിൽ രണ്ടേമുക്കാൽ ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലം വാങ്ങി. ഇവർക്ക് 11 മക്കൾ ഉണ്ട്. കൃഷിയും ദേഹണ്ഡങ്ങളും ആയി മക്കൾക്ക് യോജിച്ച വിധം ഭാഗം കൊടുത്തു. മകൾ മേഴ്സി സിഎംസി സഭാംഗമാണ് . എല്ലാവരെയും പഠിപ്പിച്ചു , പെൺമക്കൾ എല്സമ്മയെയും സുമിയെയും കെട്ടിച്ചു വിടുകയും ആൺമക്കളുടെ വിവാഹവും കഴിഞ്ഞു മാറി താമസിക്കുന്നു. രണ്ടാമത്തെ മകൻ കുഞ്ഞുഞ്ഞു അവിവാഹിതനായി തറവാട്ടിൽ ആയിരുന്നു . ഇളയ മകൻ സുനിലിന്റെ കൂടെ തറവാട്ടിൽ താമസമാക്കി. 97 മത്തെ വയസിൽ മരിച്ചു. എട്ടാം തീയതി ചന്ദനനക്കാംപാറ ചെറുപുഷ്പ ദേവാലയ സെമിത്തേരി കുടുംബകല്ലറയിൽ സംസ്കരിച്ചു.
