ഞായർകുളത്ത് കൊച്ച് ത്രേസിയാക്കുട്ടി ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകനാണ് ജോസഫ് (അപ്പച്ചൻ) . ഭാര്യ പൂവത്തോട് പള്ളി ഇടവക കിഴക്കേത്തോട്ടത്തിൽ തൊമ്മൻറെ പുത്രി ത്രേസ്യ (ചാച്ചിയമ്മ) .ഇവർക്ക് ഒരാൺ സണ്ണി . അപ്പച്ചൻ നല്ല ഒരു കൃഷിക്കാരനും എല്ലാ കൃഷികളും ആദ്യം ആവിഷ്കരിക്കുന്നവനും ആയിരുന്നു. ഇടവകയുടെ കാര്യങ്ങളിലും തല്പരനായിരുന്നു. 80 മത്തെ വയസിൽ നിര്യാതനായി. പൂവത്തോട് പള്ളി സെമിത്തേരിയിൽ അടക്കി .
